Technical & IT Handover
This section details the technical environment specifications, support pathways, and formal handover checklists required to transition operational ownership to the Angau Memorial Hospital IT team.
1. Technical Environment Summary
The MOANA deployment at Angau Memorial Hospital is hosted on local server infrastructure. The services are containerized using Docker for clean resource isolation and easy updates.

Confidential Technical Pack IP addresses, server host configurations, database connection strings, and credential files are kept in a separate Confidential Technical Pack delivered directly to the Hospital IT Lead by the MOANA deployment team.
2. IT Handover Acceptance Checklist
Before the pilot is considered ready for final sign-off, the hospital IT team must verify the following:
- User Administration: Hospital IT can create, edit, lock, and re-scope user accounts.
- First-Line Troubleshooting: IT staff can debug client connectivity, read log streams, and identify offline queue synchronization failures.
- Escalation Path: Support request pathways to the central MOANA Digital Health Helpdesk are tested and active.
- Downtime Drills: IT supports clinical staff during simulated downtime switchovers and data recovery.
- Backups: Daily automatic database backup jobs are active, and a restore test has been successfully executed.
- Hospital Champion: An IT Champion is designated for ongoing on-site peer assistance.
3. Definition of Done (Handover Criteria)
Formal handover is achieved when all twelve criteria below are confirmed and signed off:
| ID | Handover Criterion | Verification Reference |
|---|---|---|
| H1 | Server, power UPS, and local network infrastructure are fully verified. | Gate G1 |
| H2 | 22 clinical services are configured per Angau requirements. | Config Audit |
| H3 | Clinical workflows (OPD, Emergency, IPD) are validated end-to-end. | Gates G3–G5 |
| H4 | All active staff have completed competency sign-off checks. | Gate G8 |
| H5 | User access mappings comply with least-privilege matrix rules. | Gate G6 |
| H6 | Hospital IT is trained to troubleshoot basic network and app issues. | IT Training |
| H7 | Downtime procedures and data entry recovery have been drill-tested. | Recovery Drill |
| H8 | MOANA escalation helpdesk SLA agreements are signed. | Support Agreement |
| H9 | Hospital IT Champion is officially appointed and active. | Admin Register |
| H10 | End-to-end simulated scenarios (S01–S25) are completed without error. | Gate G9 |
| H11 | All outstanding issues are logged with agreed resolution paths and owners. | Issues Log |
| H12 | Hospital leadership and the MOANA lead sign the handover document. | Gate G10 |
